Calligraphy and Illumination were completed for this scroll, intended to be awarded to the Herne the Hunter Rattan Tournament winner in December 2005.
The scroll is directly based on a page from Gaston Phoebus' Book of the Hunt, 15th Century France. I was quite pleased with the way this piece turned out, and am just sorry it couldn't be awarded at the event because the event was cancelled due to a bad snow storm.
