When Their Majesties of the East put forth a call to the populace to produce picnic baskets, intended as gifts for the other Kingdoms of the Knowne World, Mistress Bess Darnley began organizing a basket in Ruantallan, and the Kingdom of Calontir was the named recipient. As my contribution to the basket, I chose to make two cushions, intended to be used as sitting cushions for picnicing.
These cushions were made completely from scratch, and feature hand-sewn embroidery and applique work on the front to represent the device of the Kingdom of Calontir.
